T.A.I.L.S. Rescue is proud to be partnering with Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri, and Puppies for Parole through the Missouri Department of Corrections to kick of our New Leash on Life program. Selected offenders have the opportunity to become trainers to rescued dogs, engaging the dogs in obedience training and proper socialization, thus increasing the dogs’ adoptability. Once the dogs have successfully completed the program they will be returned to T.A.I.L.S. Rescue and placed up for adoption.
